No prior experience is necessary! We welcome both beginners and experienced professionals. If needed, we’ll guide you in building your portfolio and developing your skills.

What are the age requirements to become a model?

We represent a wide range of ages, from kids (0–3 years old in the Toronto area) to mature models. For fashion and commercial models, we typically start at age 16.

Are there height or other physical requirements?

While many projects have specific requirements, we encourage individuals of all shapes, sizes, and heights to apply.

Do I need professional photos to apply?

Not at all! Clear, well-lit snapshots showing your face and full body are sufficient. These can be taken with a smartphone or by a friend.

Once signed, we’ll help you build your portfolio, schedule test shoots, and promote you to clients. You’ll receive guidance, coaching, and access to casting opportunities to grow your career.

Will I need to sign a contract?

Yes, signing a contract ensures clarity about our partnership and the terms of your representation.

Do you offer training or coaching?

Yes! We offer workshops that cover topics like posing, runway walking, industry etiquette, and audition techniques. Individual coaching is available as well.

Can I work with other agencies while signed with Orange Model Management?

How much can I earn as a model?

Earnings vary by project, client, and experience. We negotiate on your behalf to ensure fair compensation.

Yes, we collaborate with global clients. If you’re interested in international work, we can discuss travel or relocation opportunities based on market demand.

Interviews, Castings & Auditions

Absolutely! A positive attitude is essential. If you’re a professional, bring your portfolio, resume, headshots, and composite cards. If you’re a beginner, two recent snapshots—one headshot and one body shot—will suffice. These photos can be simple ones taken by a friend. Please note, photos may not be returned, and you might also be asked to show your identification.

What should I wear to an interview or casting?

Dress professionally:

  • For fashion modeling, women should wear high heels, no makeup, and tie their hair back. Men should be prepared to show their walk and remove their shirt if requested.
  • For commercial or acting auditions, business casual attire is recommended.
How do I prepare for castings or auditions?

We’ll guide you on wardrobe selection, posing techniques, and industry expectations. Workshops or personalized feedback may also be offered to improve your skills.

What happens if I can’t attend a shoot or casting?

If you’re unable to attend, notify us immediately. While we’ll work to resolve scheduling conflicts, frequent cancellations may impact future opportunities.
